Boston Costume Moves to 200 Broadway, Cambridge

The Garment District is thrilled to announce its acquisition of Boston Costume. As of January 2nd Boston Costume’s extensive collection of rental costumes and full range of year-round retail costumes and accessories have moved to 200 Broadway. Several staff members, including Boston Costume’s long-time manager Terry, have joined our staff at The Garment District, so that the experience, knowledge and relationships of Boston Costume remain intact on the north side of the river.
To be honest, I am amazed by the volume and quality of merchandise that Boston Costume brings. Our storage rooms are filled with bunny suits, gladiator outfits, showgirl headpieces, and more rental costumes than you can possibly imagine. With Boston Costume here at 200 Broadway we will be offering professional makeup, spirit gum, fake blood, and packaged costumes all year long. This, combined with The Garment District’s already extensive costume, period clothing and wig selection makes 200 Broadway the place to go for all of your clothing and costume needs.
We have rearranged things a little to keep all of the things you know and love about The Garment District. If you come by soon, you will see that we are still in the process of rearranging our three story warehouse. In the next few months we will be able to make the store flow better and improve your shopping experience, and we hope to add a long-planned new staircase this spring. The result is that we are continuing to add more retail space and more products than ever before at The Garment District.
I’m very excited about The Garment District and Boston Costume together in one location and I hope you are too. Come visit us and check out this great partnership for your year-round costume, accessory and clothing needs.

Thanks,
Chris
